The mission of the National Psychodrama Training Center is to teach and train others in the methods, theories and philosophy of J. L Moreno, M.D., the originator of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. Although the Morenean methods have a long history in the field of mental health, the National Psychodrama Training Center recognizes that these methods have broad non-clinical applications as well and maintains an open-admissions policy,welcoming to its workshops members of all occupations and professions. In addition to mental health professionals, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and counselors of all kinds, the Center can count lawyers, teachers, ministers, librarians, engineers, judges, plumbers and a university president among its students and trainees.
